Homework for July 12

Hi again, everyone -- please read the post below (an earlier post) about log house plans. THEN, let's think about this Saturday. I think we should have one more LIBRARY TABLE. Bring back any borrowed books that you have finished, and bring along some books that you don't mind lending for the whole summer. (These should be books that you don't read much anymore.)

July 12 - various things

Hi everybody:

I heard you had a good chance to practice with dictionaries at class last week! Doug said everyone did a good job. He also said you had fun practicing for the puppet show, but that maybe one more week of practice would be good, so what do you think about THIS idea:

We'll practice again on Saturday, July 12, then perform the play on July 19, either at our usual meeting place OR at the log house!!


ABOUT THE LOG HOUSE

We are allowed to use it again for our outing on July 19, as we had planned. Some parents have discussed a possible plan for the weekend:


Saturday, July 19

Study as usual in Ropponmatsu from 10:15 (well, 10:30) until about noon.

Meet at the log house sometime after lunch -- maybe at about 2:00?

Drive to the waterfall, park the cars, and hike in to Doug's Swimming Hole.

Swim!

Back to the log house for dinner (probably POT LUCK -- everybody brings a dish to share)

Sleep!


Sunday, July 20

Wake up (but remember, not at 5:00 a.m. or Christie will cook you up for breakfast!)

Have breakfast (let's organize something together)

Go to the farm to check on the rice and other plants

Say goodbye for the summer!

Hi - even though we Provenzanos probably won't be at Kidz Group on Saturday (if it doesn't rain, Sophie has a dodgeball tournament)
