Mochi Tsuki at the farm

Happy New Year everyone! With many of our members away for the holidays I was worried we wouldn't have enough rice pounders at the farm, but Richie, Jojo, Sophie, Maya, and Hide-san's kids and cousins did a great job! Here are some pictures of the big day...

There was LOTS of mochi to enjoy -- we had it with sweetened soy sauce, with grated daikon and soy sauce, or just plain!
