Hi everybody. It was great to see all of you last week! I think we had a great talk and lots of good ideas about what to do this year. I am especially excited about our ideas for fund raising for a field trip! I am also keen to see you guys develop more interesting and fun pages for the Mission Guide. Let's get started sketching out those ideas in our next class.
I heard you all saying that you really like using the computer, and I think it was Richie (or maybe Ren) who remembered writing comments on this blog a while ago (well, perhaps about TWO YEARS ago!! That's a while, isn't it?!)
So, for your homework this week I'd like all the members of the Red group and the Blue group to respond to this:
In this blog's "comments" section, please write at least TEN sentences about your plans for 2011. Write about things that are definitely going to happen, things that you and your family are planning to do, and things that you HOPE you can do. TEN sentences! Ok?

In 2011 I am going to be starting a new job. I like my old job a lot, but my contract is finishing, so I found a new job at another university. I am looking forward to meeting new colleagues and students, and I am interested in developing my new classes there. I think it's going to be pretty busy.
With the Kidz Group, I hope to continue finding new and interesting activities for us to do together. I love the idea of an overnight field trip - maybe to Kyoto or Kumamoto like we talked about in class, or perhaps camping somewhere? It's always fun when we do things like that together. I really want to see everybody develop their writing skills and start using the computer more. It's great experience.
With my family, I am planning to go to Canada in the summer as usual. This year we are going to spend some time at the lake like we usually do, but we are also going to stay in Vancouver for a while to visit friends and family there. I also want to spend time on the weekends doing things in and around Fukuoka; for example, visiting hot springs, going to the park, and spending time with friends.
In 2011 I'm gonna go to the Track and Field club everyday except when I'm sick or if I had some sort of reason.
Also It's gonna be my birthday soon so I'm thinking to get a new Wii TV game thing called Call of Duty Black Ops.And were probably gonna go to the mountains and go sledding.And my Dad is planning to take us skiing at some skiing resort in Saga.
And I,m going to be 8th grade soon.
I, Sophia Paula Provenzano, will become a 6TH GRADER this year. for this reason, I expect EVERYBODY to treat me with great respect(^V^)!! I also will read ALL the Warriors books that I ordered about.... almost ONE WHOLE WEEK ago, and they are STILL NOT GETTING HERE!!!!!(T-T) I'm hoping that I'll get this Wii game called "New Super Mario Brothers" for my birthday. I'm also hoping that this year the kidz group will be able to do a fund raiser and make a lot of money. Then, we would be able to buy more books for the kidz group library, fix the tatami at the kashi-jimsho, or maybe even go on a big field trip! One thing I think EVERYBODY agrees about, is that that stupid old puffy eyed OZAWA, (BOO!!) should STEP DOWN!!! I am also going to be a mime for Halloween. I got the mask in Italy this year. I think I'm going to have to practice the invisible everything thingy and the no talking thingy that all Mimes do....
I'm Angus Noguchi and this april i'm gonna become a junior-high school student,i'm gonna join the table-tennis club. So that means that i'm gonna get way more exercise, and i hope i can make it to the Fukuoka city tournament. So i have to practice really hard.
Before i go in to junior high school, my grade(all the 6graders) are going on a trip to space world before we graduate. I also have my birthday in July so i'm really keen about that.

Hi, I am Natsuko. In 2011 I will be 7th grade. So I want to study harder.
And I want to practise skating more. Because I want become level 4.
I think I will continue Kidz Group.
I and my family will go to Tokyo Disneyland as my graduation trip. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm Nozomi Yoshino.
I have 2 plans in 2011.
One is to improve my English and German skils by reading a lot of English
and German books.
For example, magic tree house, and some A to Z mysteries.
I can't speak English so well, so I want to speak a lot in play-gloup.
One more plan is to use a lot computer.
I want to use some computer softwares and help my mom.
My mom saids that if I help her, she gives some allowance to me.
With my allowance maybe we can fix the kasijimushho's tatami!!!
My mom published her book last November.

In the kise group I'm going to read 1 boke in a weak from the Library.
